An attempt to gain support from the old people. The ones they’ll deny medical care to first.

I did a title search twice - came up with nothing matching. If already posted, please delete. I had to chop up the excerpt to 300 words and it was hard to follow. The whole article link should be read.

Democrats are really lashing in out with fangs and claws now.

Today's news cited the RATS denying there was such a provision in the bill and then we heard they were pulling it.

So what is it? Was it there or wasn't it?

Once Congress returns to Washington, Corker suggested citizens should pay close attention to the Senate Finance Committee’s discussion on using $410 billion from the Medicare program to leverage a new health care entitlement program.

The plan has drawn support from the American Association of Retired Persons.

“I think the AARP has truly acted … like a political shill on this,” Corker commented. “I think they’ve thrown their constituents under the bus on this.”

That’s like taking one flea off the dog; there are millions more where that one came from. Any health care bill passed by Congress will be bad even if they knock off one or two of the basic violations of freedom.

Dang, the government-conrolled media is going all out for ObamaCare. Now both ABC (jake Tapper) and the Ay Pee are insisting that Sarah Palin’s characterization of the end-of-life provision in the bill was “debunked” — which is a total media lie.

Useful idiots.

When you see this video, it becomes very clear who the AARP thinks works for who.

AARP has no constituent base. It's a nothing more than a mechanism for selling life insurance. The stuff they sell is "front loaded" as far as their involvement in it is concerned, so it is actually to the advantage of AARP to have their "members" die faster.

I'm surprised Corker doesn't know that.

The major piece, the piece that the Dems will NEVER give up, their Holy Grail, is the PUBLIC OPTION. That is the central piece that will destroy private health insurance and lead to Socialized Medicine, and they KNOW it. Right now, they are in scramble mode, and the singular question on their minds is:

“How can we ram the public option through without looking like we’re ramming it through?”

They WILL attempt it. It’s only a question of packaging.

Term limits would solve many of today's problems! Why can't anyone see that??????????

Better than term limits, retire all of the loons who are there now and implement a 'congressional duty' similar to 'jury duty'........ Let average people have a voice again......

Not to worry, they will get it back in during the House-Senate conference committee. Dingy Harry said so...

Great, now if we can get them to exlude the bill from the bill, we'll have what we want.

DONT YOU SEE?!?! They are trying to get ANYTHING passed so they have a template to fill out later, with ammendments, etc.

THE WHOLE freaking thing stinks like a Tijuana whore.

Note: INBN does not know what a Tijuana whore smells like, I'm quoting a MAXIM article I read, or was it GQ? Whatever, its quoted somewhere. /h

Don’t believe a word they say until the final bill is out of the Senate-House conference committee. That committee is likely to put back in, every repulsive thing into that damned bill. Then it will go back to the House and Senate for an up-or-down vote.

Remember “I voted against it, before I voted for it”? This is *exactly* that case.

The S.O.B.s will say “I was opposed to all parts of the bill, but I *had* to vote for it in the final form, because...”

Lies, all lies. The only safe thing to do is to not pass ANY bill.

That up or down vote is ALL that matters. If they vote for that damned bill, in ANY form, they need to be thrown out of office. NO EXCUSES. If they vote for that bill in ANY form, they FULLY support it.

They NEVER had to vote for that bill. NEVER. Not in committee. Not in the full chamber. Not in conference committee. And NOT, NO WAY AND NO HOW, in the final vote.

And what assurances do we have that it won’t just kind of sort of creep back in during the conference committee that gets the House and Senate versions together? Don’t trust them anymore.
