It's really not that big a deal. Most revolutions start with zip. And then you overrun the city armory, with a help of a few sympathetic police officials. In Hollywood productions, revolutions start with a bright white line between the people who are revolting and the ancien regime. In reality, revolutions are a lot like the collapse of the Soviet Union - disgruntled current or former officials take up arms against the government, with wealthy business people providing funding and logistical support.
I got a fund raising call from the NRA tonight asking for $150.00 to fight against a U.N. treaty to disarm us. I told the lady that if more than 5% of all legitimate gun owners, would join that group she would not need to be calling me for money. We just need to grow a pair en masse and tell the government to pass all of the laws that they want, we will refuse to obey them. Other wise we will end up just like the Chinese.

How did so many guns get in the country and into the hands of these political terrorists? Are they not aware that what the government does is for the good of society? Are they not aware that the government is trying to help them and to promote social justice for all?

It’s not so much that they’re not willing to give up their life, They don’t want to give up their comforts and security.
