“Finance Committee drops end-of-life provision”

Only for now.

Looks we call know the growing government - over the years rationing will all be put in by policy not a vote.

Yup, they can sneak in anything they want in the middle of the nite before bringing it up for a vote.

And speaking of rationing, there is nothing in the bill that says there will be rationing.

What's interesting about that is that the republicans tried 3 times to add an amendment that would guarantee no rationing of health care.

Three times the dems voted those down.

Heck if they passed those, they wouldn't be able to put in rationing later!

There is hardly anything in any of these bills about health care.

It's mostly permission for Obama to appoint people to the panels to decide what care is avaiable and what is not.

One of Obama's advisors believes that a fetus has an age of 33 months, so as to check the "quality of life" of a kid up to the age of two and if it doesn't fit the right guidelines it could be "aborted". That's right, at 2 years old!

This is the Senate version so who knows what will appear in the House version and how it will be disguised. Additionally the versions when approved by both Chambers will go to a combined house/senate Committee to rewrite the compromise version that both Chambers will pass sometimes without debate. So you are correct it isn't over by far at this stage of the game.

Yep. They'll design it so they can let the hem out later.

Isn’t this panel already in place from the Stimulus Bill. I understood that it was already funded and staffed and Rahm’s brother is on it.

Good old GOP, still bringing butter knives to a gunfight.

“Only for now.”

Exactly. I 100% guarantee you that it will find its way back in. Five years, 10 years, 15? Doesn’t matter. If Obamacare passes, this will make its way back in.

Snuffin’ granny and gramps is the only way to control healthcare costs without tort reform.

+++++++++++++++

That’s exactly right. To be added in on a convenient Friday afternoon, before a holiday break.

You can trust this socialist crowd about as far as you can throw ‘em. Oh, not even that much. THROW THESE BUMS OUT.
