Posters depicting President Barack Obama in makeup similar to the Joker from the most recent Batman movie have popped up across Lake County.
A U.S. Post Office in downtown Clermont had a couple of the posters glued to a collection box.
Clermont Postmaster Willie Montgomery said today that the posters were discovered yesterday. Customers complained about the pasted images, he said.
"Everybody that saw those posters found them to be very offensive," Montgomery said. "These are personal attacks on the president. We don't have to necessarily agree with the way they're running the country, but we have to respect the office. That's my position on it."
Montgomery said whoever put up the posters meant for them to stay. He had to scrape off the images, which were stuck on with some kind of adhesive.
"You had to destroy them to get it off," Montgomery said. "They were not intended to be removed. I've never seen anything like that."

Where can I buy those kind? I want one thousand of them..
I'm series!
I find the posters really creepy and they speak the truth.......
CREEPY
Well then they would be spitting on Zero, wouldn’t they be?
Is it me or has this person led a really, really sheltered life?
Just wait until Obama reforms the mail system in this country by forcing all businesses to use the USPS exclusively....
I hope it drives the bastards who voted him in to suicide.

Are these people for real? What unbelievable pussies. Um, where were they when Bush was being villified?
If you use the free Avery software, you can put four images on one 1 x 2 5/8 return address label....call 'em "Obama Seals".

BEATING UNDERSTANDABLE BUT NOT RIGHT
THE ORLANDO SENTINEL - Wednesday, June 5, 1996
Author: By Ramsey Campbell of The Sentinel Staff
You have to have some sympathy for Clermont postmaster Willie Montgomery .
He was charged last week with beating his teen-age daughter after he caught her with two boys in her bedroom in the wee hours of the morning
He was charged with aggravated child abuse after taking his belt and whipping the 16-year-old girl on the bottom and legs.
All in all, he probably showed more restraint - under the circumstances - than many would.
After all, some parents would go ballistic if they caught their teen-age daughter with one boy in her bedroom.
Last week, about 150 residents gathered in Clermont to support Montgomery .
Most felt the same as Clermont City Council member Lester Cole, who said that Montgomery was right in what he did.
‘’Who’s going to raise your kids if you can’t raise them?’’ he asked.
To many, Montgomery ‘s reaction to the situation was certainly understandable, if not laudable.
Both the state Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services and the Clermont Police Department had been investigating the complaint made by the girl.
But neither had taken action when deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested Montgomery .
Clermont Detective Danny Cheatham said he had to give Montgomery credit for not hitting the two boys involved.
Good point.
But the line between discipline and child abuse is often thin. And in Montgomery ‘s case, it may be very understandable.
That, however, doesn’t make it right.
His situation strikes me as simply a loss of control, a breakdown in parental skills.
Any time adults want to take advantage of their physical size and whack someone smaller, it is wrong.
There are always better ways of making your point even if, in reality, parents don’t always have the time to think them through.
(snip)
The problem is people would spit on the wrong side...
This is a great assumption and likely accurate for 2 reasons! The real Americans would intentionally spit on the front side and the Obamabots would ignorantly lick the front side not knowing better.
“...but we have to respect the office.”
.
We do, but not necessarily the person who occupies it.
gave me another idea: create your own stamps...but, they wouldn’t allow the obamasocialistclown. bet they’d allow porn and mutilated bodies and such.
The efficiency of the Post Office
The customer service of the DMV
...the compassion of the IRS
and the solvency of Social Security....
Too, frikkin’ bad. Add more.
That is perfect!
