Hmmm. It sure looks like events could be leading up to this.

This may seem to be an ignorant question but here goes. If our founding father considered it a right to throw off the shackles of the king then why would they write it into the Constitution that the president has the authority to use military force against it own citizens if and when they rose up against the shackles of government?

Very good question!!
In modern times it may be the classic 'CATCH-22.'

Forgot to add the Founders likely couldn’t imagine there would be a ‘Title 10’ or the slow erosion over the years of that pesky Constitution.

The implication is to prevent total anarchy. The rights of citizens are guaranteed only if the right to a proper governing body exists to protect and secure those rights. A balancing act is a requirement for it to function.

Last week my computerless brother asked me to look up
Faraday Cages as an EMP incident will fry all electronics.
Operation Garden Plot will be activated as a method of civil disturbance control. An EMP incident would cause a civil disturbance. Also, tax protesters, militia groups, religious cults, and general anti-government dissenters, are considered "Disruptive Elements".
Could this be why Internment/Resettlement Specialists are being recruited by the National Guard in Florida and Texas?

But with the way things are going in the direction of socialism and there was an uprising then the powers to be would see it as an insurrection and call out the military to put the uprising down. So in a way you could say we've been screwed by the pooch rather than screwing of the pooch.

Only if the right to a proper governing body exists. The implication is that tyrannical rule must be protected against, that's why they put the second amendment above most others. It would be probably be difficult for the drafters to foresee a time where people became so disinterested and ignorant of their circumstance that a leftist wanna be tyrant would be allowed to achieve such a high position. Yes, I believe he would crown himself if he could.

It doesn’t seem to be working then. He has appointed what 35 czars that have cabinet type authority without being confirmed by the senate. If that is not the act of a tyrannical archetype then what is?

I was suprised to see they still call it Garden Plot. We used to spend a week stompin n jabbin every three or four months in Garden Plot exercises in the 60s.

We’re in for a bumpy ride. The economic policies are just as bad if not worse than the social and political policies currently being practiced by this oligarchy steering the Nation. The hubris involved in commandeering a (relatively) free people’s money, health, thoughts through propaganda and intimidation tactics, etc. are going to blow up IMO. Don’t when, don’t want my family to have to suffer through it, but the course we’re on is a destructive one.

Lots of good info on Faraday cages in your link. I learned some new stuff:
A) A car will not act as a Faraday cage unless it is an older full-metal-body type (no plastic or non-metallic frame parts) and has the tires removed so as to be grounded to the earth. Even then, protection is spotty and it's not recommended.
B) Microwave ovens are premade Faraday cages.
C) Metal trash cans can be used as Faraday cages if properly grounded.
