It seems to me, these are the major questions we need to ask:
1. How much pressure is Obama and company under to ram this through?
2. To the Dems, how much of this bill is “would like have” and how much is “must have”?
For #1, we need to understand the Dems’ MOTIVATIONS. How much is driven by ideology and how much is driven by pressure groups? Unemployment is high, so many of their supporters are either without coverage or are paying for COBRA coverage. Of those, what is the breakdown — Dem support has always been comprised of voting blocs, so which ones are involved? How much pressure is being placed on Dems from the Left? The Hard Left?
For #2, this is where we really need to be vigilant. An old tactic is to put forth what you would like to have, let the outcry ensue, then put everyone to sleep with a watered-down version — while planning to add to it over time. We all know it as boiling the frog slowly.
In this case, these two factors might conflict, since incrementalism takes time, and the worse unemployment gets, the more pressure traditional Dem blocs will place on them (”give us free healthcare or we’re staying home on the next election!”). So while on the one hand we can’t let our guard down for a second, on the other hand it’s much more in our interest to “starve the beast” — as it heats up the pressure cooker.
The Dems might be committing political suicide, or it could be a rope-a-dope. Or they could be stuck between competing demands. We need to be agile and watchful since we don’t know what’s going on in their heads.

They don't work like that. It's always a “crisis” and rushed through without reading the dam bill. Under Oboma they don't want YOU or those passing it to READ IT and it's working. It worked for the bailouts too!

That's been going on for years. All the GOP compromises have lead us to this situation. Obama is exploiting it. OBama hates this country. He wants to “spread the wealth around” GLOBALLY. He wants us to be impotentent, militarily and financially. He's doing to our economy what terrorists would like to see happen. The U.S. collapsing.
