No, never!. Keep it with your important personal documents. If you lose your wallet or purse and that's in it, hello identity theft. Take it with you only on occasions where you have to present it, such as a new employer or first applying for SS benefits. Credit cards, DL and other items in your wallet can be replaced with little hassle. Your identity is something else. Also, memorize the PIN number you use to get cash at the ATM and don't put it in the wallet.
