President Obama, attending a North American summit with the leaders of Mexico and Canada, vowed Monday to pursue comprehensive U.S. immigration reform later this year with a view to enacting legislation in 2010 that would provide a "pathway to citizenship" for millions of illegal immigrants in the United States.

In a joint news conference in Guadalajara with Mexican President Felipe Calderón and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Obama also pledged continued support for Mexico's war on powerful drug cartels, saying he was confident the battle could be waged "in a way consistent with human rights."

In their two-day summit, the three leaders said they discussed those and other topics, including trade, a recent coup in Honduras and efforts to combat the spread of the H1N1 swine flu pandemic.

Questioned about criticism in Latin America that the United States has not been doing enough to support restoration of the ousted president of Honduras, Obama pushed back, accusing such critics of hypocrisy.

The ONLY reason why Obama wants all the illegals to become citizens is so they can all vote for him in 2012.

What a strange concept. Go to foreign country and announce that you are going to make %15 to %20 of their population citizens in your country.

Obama,
Let me get this straight. You are going to send money to Mexico for their drug war (most likely money to corrupt officials). Then you are going to fast track citizenship for millions of federal criminals.

So what is Mexico going to do for us? Send us more people who’s only skill is cooking tortillas with meat, beans, and cheese?

That’s what I thought. Mr. Calderone, you’ve done such a good job that that I’m going to take these people off your hands.

Why no. There are plenty of other occupational options for them both before, during and after the coming economic collapse of this free-market country: robbing, raping, pillaging of public services, crowding of emergency rooms, transmitors of infectious diseases the likes this country hasn't see in decades, gang-banging, selling your teenagers drugs, pimping out your daughters after they've gotten them hooked on drugs......why it's a whole cornucopia of alternative occupations. Just dandy.

Don't be mean to the murderous drug cartels.

And if we shoot one in the ass while smuggling dope illegally into the US, we will prosecute our agents.

As in Hitler's Germany, the nationalization of the health care industry, was the catalyst for everything else.

Once the illegals are insured, they're half way to being citizens.
