The unions get to keep their plans, too? Just like Congress?
Looks like we all need to sign up for ACORN
Imagine an army of “us” in ACORN :-)
Sounds like an opportunity for some enterprising folks to open up electronic banking overseas that allows no access by US Government thugs but permits electronic transfer and electronic bill paying.

I thought this bill was like 1017 pages though?
BTTT
It is. This is just part of an endless chain of copy-paste-recopy-repaste.

I think that you can be sure that there is more to dig out of this dunghill.

It is.
They’re using a slight twist on an old tactic of “blind with brilliance, baffle with bullsh!t”.
Here’s the bill in it’s current form....

PING FOR LATER REVIEW
The board will have up to 26 members, 9 of whom are "non-federal" employees appointed by the president, and up to 8 of whom are Federal employees, appointed by the president. The remaining 9 are to be appointed by the Comptroller General. Wonderful -- how many more 'czars' are we going to get out of THIS cluster -?
OBTW -- you missed pp. 41-43, where the bill establishes the Health Choices Commissioner as a cabinet-type position, with powers that combine the audit & 'compliance' powers of the IRS with the benefits determination powers of the Social Security Administration, and the power to determine who gets affordability credits and who doesn't.
The term 'commissioner' comes up in this bill 203 times, with many references to arbitrary power -- "as specified by the commissioner," "the commissioner shall determine," "established by the commissioner."
This guy would have more power than the chairman of the Fed.
Page 65: Taxpayers will subsidize all union retiree and community organizer health plans (read: SEIU, UAW and ACORN)
I'm not sure -- I think this is the gate where they'll dump the military retirees out of whatever insurance plan they have, and into the government (cess)pool.
Page 72: All private healthcare plans must conform to government rules to participate in a Healthcare Exchange. Page 127: The AMA sold doctors out: the government will set wages for participating plans .
But, as with Medicare, the physician does not HAVE to accept the public fees as the total charge -- he can charge more, with the balance coming out of the victim's (oops, excuse me) patient's pocket. Any guess as to the primary languages, proficiencies, and probable sobriety of the doctors who will accept the government's rates?
Page 149: Any employer with a payroll of $400K or more, who does not offer the public option, pays an 8 percent tax on payroll
YEAH! $crew the ba$targs -- they succeed, so they MUST have oppressed the masses SOMEHOW!
Just this much is grounds for tossing the whole thing in file 13 and starting over. Anybody who voted for this monstrosity should be recalled. C
Thanks for the additional info, Quiller.
This is a most insidious Rube Goldberg scheme that only the demented dwellers of a dark corner of Hades could conjure up to torment us all.
