Now it can be told: The mysterious petty theft that President Barack Obama's new computer chief committed at age 21 was shoplifting four dress shirts worth $134 from J.C. Penney.
A 1996 Montgomery County, Md., police report obtained by The Associated Press on Wednesday under a public records law shows Vivek Kundra was observed by a security guard putting the men's shirts into a shopping bag and leaving the store without paying. Sgt. Tom Stanton wrote that Kundra was arrested after a brief foot chase and the property was recovered.
Kundra pleaded guilty, paid a $100 fine and $55 in court courts and was ordered to do 80 hours of community service. The White House has called a "youthful indiscretion" long ago resolved.

“Now it can be told”....????
Is the media admitting to hiding any and everything potentially damaging to Obama?
Yes..I believe they are...LOL. Wonder when they are going to tell the truth about Obama and Tony Rezko or Blago? How bout the truth about Obama’s hidden records?
GANG INITIATION
"As Vivek Kundra, President Obama's choice for U.S. chief information officer, was speaking about government transparency at the Washington, D.C., convention center on Thursday morning, his former offices a few blocks away were being raided by the FBI."

More Chicago thuggery. Why, oh, why am I not surprised???? LOL.
I joined two weeks after my 19th birthday, doesn't mean there aren't a few things I'd like to forget. Like the bet that I couldn't drive home from Jack in the Box, backward, at the speed limit, and not get a ticket. A distance of about 3 miles.
With all the big O problems we have, this seems a waste of outrage.
A few days ago, when it was first mentioned, I wrote to flag@whitehouse.com and gave them a piece of my mind about what they were doing and exactly how it fit the brown shirt mold.
Today I decided to go back to the flag@whitehouse.com website to ask them if they were still attached to their putrid snitch gathering and before I got to the site I got a warning saying I was being logged onto the site as 'flag', that it might be a trick and did I still want to go ahead and click on the link again? My neighbor, a young 14 year old computer jock if there ever was one said DO NOT DO IT...it might have a means of messing up my system.
So I didn't do it.
Has anyone else encountered this? Just wondering.
Would someone help me get some perspective here?
Would he be admissible into one of our military academies with this sort of youthful indiscretion?
But in a crime like shoplifting you'd have to wonder how many times he had got away with it before he actually got caught.
I believe, Mr. Carter’s press secretary, Jody Powell, got thrown out of the Air Force Academy for cheating.
No one in the press made a big deal about it.
Gee, what a surprise.
True, and a fair point.
Personally, I'd just rather be judged on the man I am today, rather than the dumb*ss college student I was at 21. Granted, I never shoplifted, but I did things that were equally stupid.
My problem with this story stems from the apparent coverup, rather than this guy's actions. Why is it that Dems always seem to think that they're smarter than everyone else?
Liars, cheats and thieves. Why am I not suprised!
Oh my, yet another democrat that is either a thief, conman, imposter, LIAR. Geee, what a surprise.
Youthful indiscretion my a$$! He is black, so he gets out of jail free!
LOL!!! I’ll have to use that phrase sometime.
“Like the bet that I couldn’t drive home from Jack in the Box, backward, at the speed limit, and not get a ticket. A distance of about 3 miles.”
Aw come on, tell us the rest of the story!
I don’t know about that, but we have two internationally adopted Children we would’nt have if we either one of us had this on our records.
