Oh joy, 13 more new Dr. Who episodes! I’ll have to get used to the new doctor. I need to wash and wax my TARDIS, too. Meanwhile, BBC America is running the ludicrous, boring yet sensitive Being Human right now in Dr. Who’s spot, and shortening Graham Norton to get it in, which hacks me off even more. I wish they would acquire and run more mysteries like the Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes series, or maybe whatever is as good as Coupling. If you’re in Scotland, have you seen any advance clips of the new Dr. Who?
Great. The best of the new series over the last 4 years has been some of the best TV ever.
way cool news
{fifth season will air on BBC America and BBC America HD in Q2 2010 shortly after its UK premiere}
Excellent. This means that there will be only a few weeks lag time between the UK broadcast and the American broadcast. Its a shame Primveal could cancelled right after the Season 3 cliff hanger.
Is this doctor included under Obamacare?

Allons-y!
No David Tennant = it’s gonna suck.
Sounds like I’m gonna have to get my Dr. Who fix from Torrent sites. Oh well. This past year I watched every single Dr. Who episode ever made (even the ones that survive as audio only). Can’t believe Sciffy dropped the ball.
I have tried to watch Dr. Who. But it’s just to campy. But for those who like the series this is good news.
I'm happy it's here, but BBCA horribly edits Dr. Who in its repeats. I have to make sure I see them first-run.
(Okay, maybe not "horribly", but there are funny bits that I know are missing the second time around. And I just can't afford boxed sets of every season.)
After watching the first three episodes with Matt Smith I am not that impressed. The first three seasons were the best with the fourth being about 50/50. This new fifth season has me at about a 40 percent approval rating.
On the other hand I did get a laugh out of this UK Comic Relief skit with David Tennant and Catherine.
