August will no doubt prove a hot month in more ways than one...in addition to soaring outdoor temperatures, the Health Care Reform debate will likely reach an all-time crescendo.
Let's all work to raise the profile of and put a human face on the health care crisis in America throughout the month of August. Beginning this weekend, make a 'name badge' to wear over yor heart whenever you go out in public...but this won't be just any old name badge, this tag will carry your own special health care message instead.

I have several T-shirts that wear out and about daily that read: “I’m that radical extremist your government warned you about.”
My Congressman Brian Baird, from Washington State, showed up here last Friday and called those or us who had contacted him via email and said, in a prerecorded message, he wasn’t about to face an angry lynch mob with the likes of the Okalahoma bomber but would have TOWN HALL PHONE CALLS!!!!!! Phone calls my .... What a traitor, what a coward..he even made the O’Reilly show with Laura Ingraham Friday night. This liberal hack not only will vote for Obamahealthcare..he also voted for Cap and Trade. These people need to dumped clear and simple. He is the number one kool aid drinker on my list. He is simply refusing to hear the people who he represents in Congress.
I must take issue with this statement. He IS representing his people. You are just not one of them.
You won't ever meet them, I'll warrant. They wouldn't let you or me into their club; besides, it's a long way from either of our houses, albeit closer to mine, I suspect.
I like your badge but to make it clearer I’d recommend changing “HR3200” to “the HealthCare Bill”. (Just to make it clearer for the goombas, including congress rep’s, who have no idea what HR3200 does or is.)
PS: When typing this I accidentally hit the shift button; that HR bill is nasty typed that way too! :-)
