Developing. No details yet. Drudge only has the headline.
This ugly attack on average Americans exercising their free speech rights may prove to be the Democratic Congress's Stalingrad. I guarantee you Pelosi would not have published this without Obama's approval. This contempt for political opposition and Americans uneasy about the Democrats's healthcare plans goes all the way to the Oval Office. Is this the kind of "bipartisanship" and "unity" Obama and the Democrats promised, attacking hard working Americans as being "un-American?" Is this the change we can believe in?
Democrats regularly attacked Bush and Republicans for intolerance to opposition when Bush was president. I sure never heard any leading Republican governing official call the president's opponents "un-American" or to publish an ugly broadside to that effect. The media would have gone crazy on any Republican who did. But I'm sure the media will ignore this and go back to obsessing about Rush comparing Obama's logo to a swastika. It seems now not a bad observation now that we're seeing the administration and the Democrats's fetid intolerance to political opposition beginning to come into bloom.
There's no article as yet. It's a "Developing" headline shown on Drudge's main page. I've searched USA Today and have been refreshing Drudge. Apparently the OP-Ed has not yet been added to USA's online site.
I think the best response would be an nationwide laughter attack.
And then go to the September 12th rally in Washington.
And laugh at them some more.
We are reaching the tipping point.
These are all the tell tale signs to something much, much larger, none of us would have imagined two or three years ago in our Beloved Republic. Oh I would love to hear Limbaugh or Ingraham or Beck or Savage of Levin tomorrow!
Stay tuned and prepared folks.
When people spoke up against the rise of Imperial, Fascist Japan (hard core military and politicos seizing power from democrats), the first they did was label any dissenters as 非国民 (hikokumin), or "non-Japanese". The idea was to say they were "un-Japanese" as a way to sideline them and then later round them up and imprison or worse. Germany had the same thing. We are seeing it in our own country.
Always provide a working link to the source. When you find the link again, please hit the abuse button and we’ll add in the link now for you. Also the personal comments you wrote as the basis for this thread places this thread in the topic “vanity” and not “breaking.”
USA Today is a Gannett publication and unfortunately Gannett allows none of their material to be posted on Free Republic due to Gannett’s copyright restrictions.
Mich of ACRON are illegals. SEIU is the illegal aliens union and also many govt workers and hotels.
SEIU qnd ACORN are essentially the smae org.
“Rush comparing Obama’s logo to a swastika”
Actually, from the recent videos I’ve seen, I’d say that SEIU written on a T-shirt was the new swastika.
Exactly. They’re trying to get a right-winger to shoot someone in self defense.
Then they’ll drop the hammer on us.
Its classic propaganda. Push until you get a reaction, then slime the victim for defending himself.
Problem for Nazi Pelosi is that she’s already “jumped the shark” and so has Omoslem. They look cartoonish at best. Like cartoons of politicians, not actual people.
Okay, good to know! Thanks! I’m new to this. I’ll be keeping an eye out for this link to go live so I can post it through abuse. I’ll be more careful about how I post from now on!

Welcome to FR!
Thank you South! This has been so much fun being on here, probably the most robust conservative online discussion source I’ve seen! I’m getting so much great exposure to so many sources of information. And everyone has such insightful comments...and a good bit of humor too. I love FR!
It's not just about being out of touch. It's about narcissism, delusions of grandeur, and the attitude that it's a competition and they just have to ‘win’. They truly believe they are ‘special people’ and that the rest of us should just shut up and let them control our lives. The primary motivation of most of those who currently seek or hold public office is ego. Not all, but most. This isn't conjecture or hyperbole. It's just true.
I would propose the following to remind elected office holders that they are servants of the people. I would make it a law that whenever addressing a US citizen all elected officials must address that citizen as “Honorable Sir or Honorable Madame”, no exceptions. On the other hand, I would make it customary for all US citizens to refer to each and every elected official publicly by their first name, even the president. I would retain the titles “Senator”, “Congressman”. and “Mr/Madame President” as customary and expected designations only when addressed by non-citizens.
On this basis, a typical ‘testimony’ to Congress, in which say Barney Frank was asking the questions, would go something like this: “
Frank: “Honorable Sir, in your opinion why did the housing sector collapse?”
Citizen testifying: Well, Barney, I believe it was precipitated in part by government involvement in determining who should receive bank loans.”
DO YOU HAVE A LINK FOR THIS?????
:-)
Tapatio: Look about half-way down the left column, next to the picture of the 2 journalists released from North Korea getting off a plane and below the story entitled “Geithner asks Congress to Increase Federal Debt Limit.” So far it’s only a headline, no link, no details.
not another one! this is what 50th or 60th thing that is un-american in their books? all of which are rights protected by the constitution, right?
