Am adding conflict with the CIA and possibly:

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

If so they have forgotten the part about not going after institutions....They’re gonna get bit.

Here's what Wheeler said in an article in May...

...you can bet that Langley is going to go for blood. The first bit of advice given by veteran House members to freshmen is: "Don't f... with The Farm" (that being the CIA's nickname after its Camp Peary training facility near Williamsburg, Virginia).

Sounds a bit like they are running scared, forgetting their own rules.

Note that they are going after the lower-level people who might have overstepped the boundaries outlined in the Bush antiterror memos. Individual spooks are postponing retirement so they can better fight any charges against them. The are going after individuals. Lower morale, terrorize the brave agents, discourage people from wanting to join the clandestine services, make it all seem tawdry. They can't go after Bush directly now that so much has been written about the truth at Guantanamo.
