So here we are in August, time for a little summer vacation. President Barack Obama is taking Michelle and the kids out on a Western swing to see some of America’s most famous national parks.
Next Friday, August 14, they will fly out to Bozeman, Montana and the next day will visit Yellowstone National Park, home of the Old Faithful geyser, in nearby Wyoming. Later that day they head to Grand Junction, Colorado.
On August 16, it’s on to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. They end up in Phoenix for the president to address the convention of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Weather prediction: It’ll be hot in Phoenix. They’re back in Washington on August 17.

Wish I could get a overhead shot of the presidential
ontourage, it probably stretches for miles.
It will play hell with the other tourists in the park,
if there ARE any other tourists allowed. Will they confiscate their cell phones too?

I remember one summer..... but then I thought I had sucessfully repressed those feelings. Oh well, more therapy.

That was one funny movie. I remember watching it when it first came out when I was a kid. Ahh, the good old days when Americans were really free and practically on one had health insurance or needed it.
You can just see them at Old Faithful.

I loved that movie. The part where Lucy is trying to make a nice dinner for Desi while in motion is a classic.
Why camping?
It was determined by poll results on where to go... to fake being more like...us.
Joke was on impeached and disbarred former president Clinton and alleged wife, however. Not only did they HATE camping, but nobody really cared where they went.
This looks like a reprise of a gratuitous grand performance by a city dweller who wants to fake...being more like us.
