President Obama continues to push his path-to-universal-healthcare scheme even as polls show Americans think hes taking on too much and is in far too much of a hurry to push through his expensive healthcare plans, Glenn Beck said on his TV program Thursday.
Not surprisingly, Beck added, the presidents approval rating has fallen to 50 percent, which is below where President Bushs approval rating sat after his first six months in office.

When implemented, the Complete Lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated… The Complete Lives system justifies preference to younger people because of priority to the worst-off rather than instrumental value. Silly me. When I was taking economics, I was taught that it is invalid to add up utility functions of different individuals to get a social welfare function for society as a whole.
