Truly, in the eyes of our new ruling class, "We the People" are no longer their employers ... we are the new proletariat -- the lowly working class -- just part of the machine. How can this end in anything but violence? Serious question. American citizens have a long history of refusing to bow before kings (at least up until recently, ahem).
