Sounds to me like these attorneys were patriots for the people not the illegitimate government. Can we expect similar over here from out new administration? Firing Inspector Generals, Town Halls closed, News Media Shuttered? Legislation proposed against the people’s interest and pushed by extraordinary means?

The lawyers identified themselves as possible able to use the regimes own textual contradictions against the regime.
They exposed themselves as smart and brave. So, as far as the regime is concerned, they did the regime a favor by delivering their heads as possible popular leaders.
They should of did what Solidarity did, surround themselves with the workers.
There is a basic mechanics by regimes in controlling and suppressing opposition. Nothing new under the sun.
I’m sure these lawyers knew that they were taking a chance, but obvious they grossly miscalculated.
