Isn’t it amazing that the protesters against this bill are supposed to be the ones organized, but the pro-bill people are the ones with the preprinted signs?
They were playing an audio clip on Denver area radio KOA 850AM this morning where some lady shot back at Pelosi with a line similar to: “...your health care paid for your face lift” or “...a healthcare plan that pays for facelifts like yours” or something to that notion.
Did anyone else in the Denver area hear that?
I’ll like to quote it accurately, or better yet find a video. The KOA news said it was perhaps the best line at the event.
Darn tootin that we have health care now... and Obamacare would seize control over the most advanced care on earth and wreck it. Just like its Cash for Clunkers which couldn’t even see fit to save economic value by parting out the clunkers (many of whose parts also fit non-clunkers).
Did Nancy step outside to count swastikas?
The only ones organized are the marxist-front group people, professional organizers, brought in just for the occasion.
Those town hall discussions of health care, where Democratic lawmakers are routinely confronted by angry voters when they try to sell President Obama’s reforms in their districts, are turning ugly as counter protesters have joined the battle.
Such a forum in Tampa Thursday night degenerated quickly when the complaining constituents were countered by union activists who support the reforms. The meeting was organized by a Florida state lawmaker with U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, a strong supporter of Obama’s plan, on hand.
Castor tried to speak for nearly 15 minutes but the crowd drowned her out, chanting, “You work for us,’’ “Tyranny, tyranny,’’ and “Read the bill.” She stormed out in a huff, but then a crowd of hundreds, many recruited to attend by unions and interest groups, sought to enter the meeting room. There were reports of scuffling but no arrests.
