Actually, I’ve had a theory, don’t know how likely it is, that the churn is going to continue for some time in American politics. People didn’t vote the rats in, they voted the pubes out. Now they may sweep all the rats out and vote new pubs back in. It’s the only way to have term limits in this stupid system.

Of course he knows it wasn’t a mandate but he’s going to portray it as such as much as possible. He wants to get as much passed this year as possible because next year the critters won’t touch it in an election year.

The danger was in pushing so much that the voters end up remembering it a year later. He’s really f’ing up his own movement. They’ve been proceeding nicely with fabian tactics for the last 50 years, 100 years really, but now this child wants it all right now. Peggy has her ear to the rail and she can hear the train coming. If this matter accelerates as it is at the moment, 2010 will be a political firestorm of epic proportion. Some of the pros are getting very uneasy about this, and scenes of union thugs beating protestors isn't going to help the matter at all.

What Noonan is really suggesting is that 0bama and his staff start behaving as she fondly fantasized they would when she flew to their support in '08. It isn't obvious why they would even consider doing that - it isn't even obvious why she ever thought that they would.

Noonan continues to miss the point. What could it possibly be about "insurance reform," an issue which interested few if any real citizens before it was made a cause celebre, that warrants the regime sending out its battalions of union thugs and racist brownshirts to wage war against the nation.

This does not make sense. Yeah yeah the 'rats want to socialize medicine, but why is it so important that it is worth instigating violence over it? Clearly, this fight has little or nothing to do with healthcare, or health insurance either. Wish Noonan and the rest of the dullwitted gop'ers would ask themselves that question.
