They can run but they can not hide.
My congressman is apparently only taking meetings by appointment.
This alone is reason to send him packing at the next election. These cowards can send their Liberal mobs to disrupt the Republican National Convention but can’t face a few angry taxpayers who are fed up with the move to socialism by the ilks of politicians like this coward.
He’s doing an outstanding job of hiding this month...
Maybe it’s time to “meet” on his front lawn. With banners and posters.
NOPE, NO BROWN SHIRTS!
He can hide. I’m certain that come election time his constituents will remember when he denied them representation.
Healthcare is like the Battle of the Bulge. NUTS!
Clark County Coward!
Cowards, all of them!
These pussies who don’t have the guts to face their own constituents will be THROWN OUT OF OFFICE in the next election.
Rep. Blumenauer from the Portland area (OR) is doing the same thing.
Congressman Blumenauer has been focused on fixing Americas broken health care system so that everyone has access to quality, affordable care. The time for reform is now, and we cannot afford to compromise or wait to act. Oregonians have a lot of questions about what Congress is considering, and Rep. Blumenauer wants the opportunity to talk with you about what reform will do for YOU and your family.
The TWO Telephone Town Halls will be next week:
- Tuesday, August 11th from 6-7pm
- Friday, August 14th from 1-2pm
If you want to join the Telephone Town Hall, sign up for Earl’s E-newsletter and BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER so we can call you. The call will be free.
COWARD!
Correct me if I am wrong, isn't the Town Hall venue BASIC to American political interaction? What sort of demonizing did Conservatives direct at Leberals who stood outside of voting areas during the last national election? We didn't call them Nazis.... (actually, we just called them what they were, self-identified 'Black Panther' groups, and they faced NO repercussions)
Sounds like opponents of Obamacare should set up townhall meetings, invite their congressmen and the media, then make a point of showing that their representatives are afraid of the people they represent.
My congressman already did this. it allows them to lie about what our “concerns” were, either by picking the phone calls they know agree with them, or simply making up what they talked about.
My congressman insists that the number one issue that came up in his phone town hall was that we spend too much of our GDP on health care. I doubt the average person on his phone tree knows what a GDP is.
“My congressman already did this. it allows them to lie about what our concerns were, either by picking the phone calls they know agree with them, or simply making up what they talked about.”
Exactly.
How about torches and pitchforks?
