There is NO WAY that poll is correct. There is a lot of purple throughout those questions, but when it comes to the last question about grading zero there is zero purple.

I am not buying it at all

Come on everyone. This thing started out with b’s and c’s.
Let them know what you believe.

This is what I don't get... if you mouse over each state, it seems that Obama has a huge F and D rating across the board for the whole country, fluctuating in each state... (with exception to DC, where he received high As and Bs...)

What is the standard for saying he gets all of these C, C+, C- scores Is it weighted to not count the Fs and Ds? so by default it picks between A+ through C- ???

Someone explain this system to me...

Come on...we’re talking “CNN” here...do you really think they will allow anything negative about their messiah to be published?

See how they weighted the poll? F has one percentage, A through C each has 3 possible picks to lean the poll positive.

Is there anything below “F”?

I gave it “F’s” across the board. My 2 senators, BO, Biden, Congress are all F’s.

It’s telling me I voted.

No, I did not vote. So now we know the vote is a fraud.

“It’s telling me I voted.

“No, I did not vote. So now we know the vote is a fraud.”

Me too. Guess they decided to shut this down before the Fs started piling up

Yes, I have had the same thing and it never let me vote and I posted about the problem a couple of days ago. I never did figure out what was wrong.

I just voted without problem, so it’s not shut down.

The highest grade I gave to anyone is Biden – I gave him a C for at least providing a little comic relief. Hillary, to be honest, I felt deserved no worse than a D – after all, she can only do what Obama tells her to do. Overall, though, I really couldn’t rate our government worse.

Since I went to the site directly from CNN I suspect they are blocking some of us so as not to allow F votes.

Wouldn’t it rock if they were voted out like Monica Conyers and Martha Reeves?

Somewhat off the point: Yesterday I saw Karl Rove interviewed on O'Reilly where he was asked to give the Obama administration a grade. Rove issued a series of grades from foreign domestic policy. These grades might or might not defensible but the point is that in each instance are all wrote rated Obama on whether Obama had achieved Obama's expectations. There was no judgment made about whether healthcare, which Rove gave a very low grade, was good or bad for the country only the mechanics and the politics of handling it by the Obama administration. As I watched this I felt, there you have the essence of the problem with the Bush administration. Although George Bush was an extremely moral man, the political direction of the administration lost its moral compass. The idea in politics is to advance your philosophy for the better government of the commonweal. The idea of governing is not to cleverly influence the demographics of an issue. Focus groups might be a tool for obtaining a greater goal, but they are not the measure of political success. The question is, have you advanced the public's interest within the bounds of your constitutional mandate?

Let's illustrate by an exception: George Bush resolutely stood his ground on the war in Iraq, fighting off every popular attempt to end the war or bring home the troops. Indeed, he courageously fought for and got a surge which proved so successful. By Karl Rove's lights, this was a position that should earn George Bush a failing grade-at least until the time the surge proved successful.

But pandering to Teddy Kennedy on education, establishing new entitlement programs, fearing to antagonize Congress with the veto pen, all speak of a conception of the role of government closer to that of Dick Morris than that of Ronald Reagan. Every administration needs its mechanic. Barack Obama has his Rahm Emanuel and Karl Rove is clearly infinitely preferable. But the President himself must have a clear philosophical view of the nature of good government. Ronald Reagan clearly had such a view. Barack Obama also has such a view but it is a terribly dangerous misconception. George Bush's view, which he described as "compassionate conservatism" is a view without a fixed polar star, a clear ideology , which saves an administration from sinking into the swamps of triangulation.

I’m seeing anger at democrats that I don’t recall ever seeing here in Michigan before. I wish there had been a grade for Granholm.

I don’t know if someone commented on this in another thread on this poll, but CNN is still trying to stick Republicans with the country’s problems.

Note that, after rating “Congress”, the next question asks you to rate the “Republican Leadership in Congress”.

There is NO question to rate the “Democratic Leadership”. They are trying to trick people into thinking Republicans are still in control of Congress, and trying to make people forget the Democrats have anything to do with the government.

There are NO questions which mention “Democrat”.
