I’m sorry, but this one looks like a stretch.

A couple years ago I was on the Island of Kauai with a serious medical problem.

While in their hospital for two days, they removed 86 pounds of water from my body. It was tough, but I then endured the 5 1/2 hour flight to Seattle and another 4 hour drive to my house.

If she was driven, I don’t see this as a problem, even back then.

Forget the damn plane. Think about it. First baby. New husband(supposedly) and she takes off right after he is born, all by herself and goes to Seattle when she could have easily gone to school in HI where her new husband was. This is OLD news, nothing new here. This has been discussed and FReepers found this info a long time ago. he was most likely born in Canada. maybe Kenya, He was NOT born in HI.

We went to Cooperstown when my youngest was 1 1/2 weeks old.
Family came to see the baby and the Hall of Fame. My husband had to work, so I drove. No biggie.

It might have been unusual in the 60’s but certainly do-able.

[now my baby is going off to college sniff, sniff)
