The only surprise is that they haven’t attacked yet.
Anyone think the Russkis would try this with Bush still in office?
To: Red Steel
Is sosus still up and running, or did we just track the radiation leaks traveling at 5 knots?

Jack Bauer has been kidnapped by liberals. 24 was hijacked by the PC police with global warming infomercials. Even he can’t escape. Houdini or McGiver couldn’t escape. Hollyweird and the networks win at social engineering.
What does this have to do with foreign countries and their nuclear subs invading our space? Who cares? Common defense is out of the Constitution. Universal healthcare is in.
What were we talking about?
Oh yeah, preserving our way of life. Trivial stuff.

But the big question is this: how many OTHER submarines in the Russian fleet had to be cannibalized for parts for these few submarines to operate in western Atlantic waters? The US submarine fleet is still close to full operational strength even as I type this.

I'll bet there are a good many Freepers using Toshiba laptops. You haven't bought a laptop since 1999 have you ?
To: staytrue
There are LOTS of other brands that aren't made by folks who screwed us and sold out to the enemy.
It's one thing to be ignorant of what Toshiba did, but it's another to know it and still buy their shit.
Why do you think they've always been the cheapest?

Never have been and never will be any Toshiba products in this house as well for the same reason. Thanks for your reminder to all.

“They’re not ballistic missile subs. This is mainly for domestic consumption back home to distract from their embarrassing missile tests as of late.” Considering our Los Angeles and later class’es of Attack Subs can launch Cruise Missiles out the torpedo tubes.. you don’t think the Russians can do the same thing?

How many folks today even remember this? I'll bet there are a good many Freepers using Toshiba laptops. I remember it very well, and do not buy Toshiba because of it.

Just last week the motherboard on my HP notebook was fried, so I’ve been shopping around. HP is out of the question because this is the second HP in two years to go bad.
This morning I had narrowed the search down to Toshiba and Acer.
I read this thread.
I’ve bought the Acer.

Ears will probably turn it over to the EPA. Then they’ll really be in trouble.

Maybe theyre planning to take out Congress. Now that would be such a shameGee... You think they could do that without messing up the Chesapeake? I would really miss the crabcakes.
To: Saint Reagan
I grew up with the two Yankee Class boomers that would sit off the Chesapeake light outside of Norfolk. I remember lying in sands of Va Beach on a sunny day when one of the boats came up to PD for a look around.
My girlfiend squinted at the barely visible mast and said, "Shouldn't we call a cop or something?"

Good for you! I hope you took the chance to educate the sales people exactly WHY you didn't buy the Toshiba.
It's been so long ago most of them probably don't know anything about it, but it's still a good idea to keep reminding folks who Toshiba is.
