Not sure about this, but I think there could have been a law in place that students at a college or university would not obtain residency where the school was. (Local officials would lobby for these laws so students could not influence local elections.) Her statement might have been technically true even though she was enrolled in a WA school.
But come to think, such laws were less common before the 18-year-old voter amendment passed in 1971. Still could have been the case, though.
Yep, but getting a phone listed wouldn’t demonstrate legal residency. Depends on the law. If students were regarded as transients unless they could clear some hurdle, then she would have remained a HI resident for legal purposes, I surmise. (I’m not a lawyer.)
BTW, this looks like a city directory, where the locals are listed by street instead of by name.

This Australian doc, as presented, didn’t even exist until sunday. There is no trace of it prior to then.

Agreed. And it reflects the unforgiving reality of electronic communication/obfuscation: It's either a one (1) or a zero (0) but it can't be both and there's no hiding the difference.

The 47O44 document is a manipulatd copy or Orlys’ original doc...see WND site comments. The original has 47,644 and also the initials before Lavender name are different.
