Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit and Doug Ross have the latest evidence of this, a town-hall meeting on ObamaCare in Ohios 1st CD, represented by Democrat Steve Dreihaus. In this case, Dreihaus has even more to explain after winning his seat on a claim of fiscal conservatism, as Dreihaus also voted for cap-and-trade, which will make Ohios coal industry vanish along with hiking energy costs on his constituents. Yesterday, though, ObamaCare made them angry enough:

When this health care for all crap passes, right now the legislation states that it will be illegal to sell private policies over the date of passage. It also says that HSAs will no longer be allowed. That means that my current policy will no longer be allowed and neither I nor my employer will be allowed to privately purchase an alternative.
I will not accept the public option that I will be dictated to join. I will not give the government control over my physical body. I will not pay their fines, I will not surrender to the impending warrant for my arrest. When they knock on my door, I will not answer. When they kick it in, I will make the news.
Hows that for unification, libtards? You loons are currently legislating my death. I will chose the terms and I will bring as many of you along as possible!

The GOP got their rear ends handed to them in the last two elections and came out of it utterly convinced that they lost because they weren’t liberal enough.
I think they’re still of that mindset and really, really unsure of what to do or how to react to what’s going on.
Not just telling us how they'd run things differently, look at what they themselves did when they got their majorities! We are going to be facing the "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" come election time next year.
I'm wondering, are there any Republicans who have announced they are in favor of this health care so-called reform? I've not heard such, but would be interested to know ... also, should this bill come to a floor vote, the majority of current Republicans in the House and Senate stood for election in 1994, every single GOP candidate that year was a signatory to the Contract With America. The very first reform in the Contract was:
FIRST, require all laws that apply to the rest of the country also apply equally to the Congress;
Should any Republican vote for the bill, it is he who should be asked by his constituents if he plans to put himself and his family under those terms, and not avail himself of the out provided to Members of Congress, since he would have already promised to do so by virtue of being a signatory to the Contract.
Let's try actually holding their feet to the fire this time.

How can anyone claim to be Pro Choice with regards to Abortion/murder, yet they are not Pro Choice of Health Insurance. It is my body, I should be able to chose how to take care of it!

If anyone gets asked where they are from, I tell the staffer: 1) Reference their boss’ Oath of Office to protect
and uphold the US Constitution. No mention of
district or state.
2) He or she was not elected solely by those in
the district. There were those outside that
contributed funds and time.
3) He or she is making decisions that effect ALL
of us, ergo, we are ALL constituents. Therefore
the question is unnecessary.
I live in S. Dreihaus’District and many, if not most, are convinced he talks out of both sides of his mouth! I don’t believe anything he says;wouldn’t trust him on anything, much less Health Care! His office was bombarded with phone call on “Cap and Trade”—it didn’t do any good.
Well he should walk into office on Capitol Hill and take one long last look. He will be fired in 2010.
Once government got involved in healthcare via Medicare in the 60s, the cost of healthcare skyrocketed as did the cost of insurance. Thats when most employers started offering it as a benefit......Shortly after WWII there were wage restrictions placed on the work force. Health care benefits were substituted for higher wages to get better workers THEN, not in the 1960’s. I don’t dispute that Mediscare was a contributor to higher health care costs.
