This whole thing about guessing if Obama will raise taxes on the middle class is moot! At the end of 2010 EVERYBODY with a paycheck is going to get hit with higher taxes.

When the 2003 tax cuts expire at the end of 2010 the entire federal income tax rates go back up to the higher income tax rates of the year 2000. Low income, middle income, and high income are all going to get hit hard with higher income tax rates.

Headline of any unbiased media would read”

“Obama team appears ready to just walk away from its promises to voters”.

The biggest fraud that the media perpetuates is that they ever intended to keep these promises.

Also not financially viable as increasing unemployed,
(looking for work or not) do not pay any income tax!

Even the end of the Bush tax cuts, a tax increase that
0 can avoid taking the blame for, will not decrease the
deficits.

All they can do is continue to print more and more money.

When interest rates match the unemployment rate maybe people
will wake up the this STUPID PRESIDENT.

How bout the Clinton trick...I never worked harder on anything in my whole life.

Sebelius tried that during her town meeting debacle with Specter. When challenged, she said that never before have so many people worked so hard to develop a viable alternative to our broken health care system. The audience laughed and jeered. It was great.

Obama's position has not changed: New taxes on the middle class are not [yet] a politically viable option.

Now that looks more accurate to me...

So where does the $$$ come from

Value Added Tax, Wealth Tax, or Inflation (which is a stealth wealth tax).

Obama really doesnt give a damn about raising taxes for Middle income. He is just looking for a way to disguise it , or blame it on someone else.

yes, I’m sure he’s working harder on that than he’s ever worked on anything else in his life....

” yes, I’m sure he’s working harder on that than he’s ever worked on anything else in his life.... “

That’s a pretty low bar to hurdle....

President Barack Obama is struggling to find a way to pay for an overhaul of the nation's health care system without violating his campaign promise not to raise taxes on the middle class.

I'll bet he loses that struggle.
