Certificate taken down and information inserted into family tree with link to article:
"10d I0543 David Jeffrey Bomford, b 10 April 1959 at Adelaide, m 28 Nov 1981 at Somerton Park, South Australia I0546 Amanda Jane Sandover, b 1959, and had issue [an image of David's birth certificate has been removed from the website temporarily as at 4 August 2009 as the site has a limited download capacity. See http://washingtonindependent.com/53658/is-this-the-source-of-the-forged-kenyan-birth-certificate]"
I don’t think so.
Check out SatinDoll’s comment.
The site is cheaply hosted and exceeded its bandwidth limit.
Now why would that have happened?
LEADTOOLS is ancient Windows image manipulation software.
The site allegedly hasn’t been touched by its admins in 2+ years but they monitor it daily?
Have pinged you to another thread that will give you a BIG smile....
They don't need to. The ISP where they host it does. Automatically. And they didn't spring for the premium account, not expecting to tangle with Birferstan.
I have a place I post ‘cause I know the trolls are there...I told them we knew it was a fake and we knew who faked it. Didn’t take long for them to pull it.
Normally, the ISP would just shut it down for the time being. Notice the server is still crashing. That was a real quick turnaround for the ISP to contact the site admins who haven't touched it in 2+ years and who removed the pic then inserted a blurb into the family tree with a link to a biased site, with no comment on the front page...hmmmm.
This has been a wild wild ride.... I sure hope you are right.....I looked at Technical Editors posting history (he had the story that he stumbled across the Bomford pic)
Its pretty suspect ..joins in 04 posts a little then disapears till 08 posts a lot of threads no comments ..then emerges in 09
Post your comment finds to Satin Doll here...(They’re what I wanted you to see that would make you smile.)
It’s definitely strange. Either someone set Orly up or the Aussie doc is fake.

Carl says: I cant identify myself here because Id lose my job. Im a low level employee of the US State Department attached to the Overseas Service and I just finished a conference call with two lawyers in London and two journalists from Politico.com who all stated that they just left a late meeting at the London Foreign Office and they were assured that The Kenyan birth certificate is without question, 100% authentic. Im not surprised.

kitau says: I happen to be Kenyan. I was born 1 month before Obama at Mombasa medical center. I am a teacher here at the MM Shaw Primary School in Kenya. I compared my birth certificate to the one that has been put on by Taitz and mine is exactly the same. I even have the same registrar and format. The type is identical. I am by nature a skeptical person. I teach science here and challenge most things that cannot be proven. So I went to an official registrar today and pulled up the picture on the web. They magnified it and determined it to be authentic. There is even a plaque with Registrar Lavenders name on it as he was a Brit and was in charge of the Registrar office from 1959 until January of 1964. The reason the date on the certificate says republic of Kenya is that we were a republic when the copy of the original was ordered. I stress the word copy. My copy also has republic of Kenya. I would imagine that's the extent of what they've done. The site will remain unavailable until the billing cycle resets, the owners pony up for premium hosting, or the ISP decides (after manual review) to make an exception to their usual policy.

Of course it is. The ISP managers didn't need to do anything. Their server did what it was programmed to do. There was no need to contact the site owners. In fact, even the ISP sysadmins probably don't know about it yet. They'll find out when the owners complain or they review their logs and wonder about the traffic spike. LOL!
If you go to the front door, the message is unambiguous. As is the page title ("Suspended Domain"). Duh!!!
Ah, yes! Very nice. I just hope everything is copacetic and Orly comes through all this safe.
I fell terrible about what happended to the Bromford Family’s geneological site. Just like tearing up a gravesite, it was desecrated by Obots.
Those Obama supporters, like Obama himself, have no honor - none.
So the ISP managers (not the site admins who haven’t updated the site in 2+ years) left the site up, left the main page alone, edited the family tree buried deep on only one page, removed the pic, inserted a blurb and a link to a biased website and then suspended the account because it was a premium account? Yeah, that makes all the sense in the world...seriously.
You do realize the "front door" and entire site were fully functional when I created this thread don't you?
Biased website? When I go to the original site of the image (http://www.bomford.net/worcestershire/images/DavidJeffreyBomfordBirthCertDoc65.jpg), I get a 404 response. Totally unbiased (except in favor of the ISP's bottom line), although it does fall below average in informativity. When I go to front door (http://www.bomford.net/), it's immediately obvious to anyone with any experience getting websites hosted on the cheap that they exceeded their bandwidth.
And of course, we know why, don't we?
And of course, we know why, don't we?
Are you paying attention at all? The link, which was inserted deep in the family tree on one of the site pages and occurred before before the account was suspended, was to the Washington Independent, a biased US website, as referenced in my OP. Once the change had been made, the front door and all doors were still fully functional. Only later was the account suspended.
So again, the ISP managers saw that the obscure site, which had not been updated in 2+ years, was crashing because of increased traffic. They did not shut the site down or contact the site admins but rather modified one obscure portion of one page on the site explaining the situation while linking to a biased US website and leaving the entire site and "front door" fully functional. Later, they suspended the account because it was not a premium account. Is that right? Seriously?
I don’t know if the Bomford certificate is a source or not - I do know as soon as I saw the alleged Kenya certificate I noticed it bore a great resemblance to an Australian birth certificate. I’ve got a certified copy of my own NSW certificate and it really does look quite similar.
I’m prepared to believe Kenyan ones might also be similar due to a Commonwealth link, but the instant I saw it, it really looked so familiar to me.
