Not so fast.
The Lavender on the AUSTRALIAN birth certificate was NOT E.F.Lavender, it was G.F. Lavender.
Also, you link is from a newspaper in the year 1915???
And he is supposed to be still hanging around and working in 1959?

That proves squat! If E.F. Lavender who was the Victorian Law Clerks’s Society secretary in 1915 could be the guys father or grandfather. Or it’s like see Bob Smith.
