It is absolutely amazing how that deputy registrar was able to sign UNDER the printed characters on the page... usually signatures go on AFTER the page is printed...
My first thought on the signature was simply the ink used in the fountain pen (or other writing instrument) had faded to the point of allowing underlying typing to be clearly seen through.
On further inspection and magnification of the signature, the “r” is way to crisp/bright/perfect as compared to the rest of the area to simply be a case of faded ink.
It clearly looks as though the “signature” was pasted onto the document after the typed information was either pasted or on the original template.
