Another thing I’ve been wondering about is the name ‘Lavender’. Lavender is associated with homosexuals. Perez Hilton’s real surname is “Lavandeira”.
Just a thought.

Lavender as a surname :
English and Dutch: occupational name for a washerman or launderer, Old French, Middle Dutch lavendier (Late Latin lavandarius, an agent derivative of lavanda washing, things to be washed). The term was applied especially to a worker in the wool industry who washed the raw wool or rinsed the cloth after fulling. There is no evidence for any direct connection with the word for the plant

There’s quite a few entities in Kenya
and Africa with the name: Lavender
I think it might also be grown there.

Different meaning. “Lavandeira” is a Portuguese/Galician word meaning “wash.” Lavender would be “lavanda” in Portuguese-Galician-Spanish.
But I wouldn’t doubt that some of the punks that are hacking conservative sites are a little on the swishy side.
