Your assessment of Austin is correct in all aspects except geography. Some of us are considering moving the seat of government to San Antonio or possibly Dime Box.

Oh, Austin is part of Texas. It's where we send the whack-jobs so we can keep track of them. It's also the state capitol. Seemed like a two-fer at the time.
