Continental is the best domestic carrier, IMHO.
Why don’t you fly to Las Vegas and rent a car and drive north on I-15 to So Utah? Fares to LV are dirt cheap.
The I-15 drive is easy with no problems. I’ve done it 50+ times at least.
Back when there was a People Express airline (which got absorbed by the Continental empire when that Frank Lorenzo POS ran it into the ground), people knew when a former carrier pilot was in command. HARD landing!
And where were you when I was planning this thing? lol Never even thought of it. Already have the ticket so it is too late now.
Continental improved immensely when Lorenzo got fired.
Transportation Secretary Federico Pena had barred Lorenzo from any further airline business - the only time I agreed with Pena. Lorenzo was a clusterbleep.
Normally this is the result of landing too hot.
I remember People Express. Was a passenger once...
