Frankly I don’t give a damn about the opinion of the losers.

Anybody who believed Obama was an atheist or an agnostic was either not paying attention or must have assumed he was lying about his religious beliefs.

Barack Obama was a favorite of the religiously unaffiliated, winning an overwhelming 75 percent of a bloc that is growing fast – from nine percent of the electorate in 2000 to 12 percent in 2008 –and one that figures to be crucial to Obama's chances in 2012, especially as his once-stratospheric approval numbers...

So then the "religiously unaffiliated" will overlook Osama's screwups because he's one of them? So it sounds to me like they just traded one god for another.

The difference between Bush and Obama is that Bush’s supporters never thought that he was god.

But since November, Obama has also shown himself to be the most biblically (and theologically) literate president in decades,....

What the hell is he talking about??? This sounds more like satire, but I think he is being serious. 0bama has shown his dismal ignorance concerning what the bible actually says several times. He sat at the feet of Rev. Jeramiah Wright after all.

He has muslim habits and a general disregard if not disdain for all things Christian oriented. I don’t think he has a god higher than himself though.

Suicide is always an option for those who constantly whine about hearing about God.

You said — The godless heathens are restless... ;)

Yes they are...

But, I don’t know how much the “godless heathens” are going to help the conservatives in the long run. I mean, let’s say they don’t like Obama and they want to get rid of him... does anyone think they are going to become conservatives? I hope someone doesn’t think that... LOL...

Nope, all they are going to do is go to someone who is as “godless a heathen” as they are... and that’s not too much help to conservatives...

Ijust find it amusing that so many that voted for him seem to be turning on him already.

It’s not that they’re mad that he’s ruining America; heck, they agree with that!

It’s that he’s not sinking us FAST enough!

Collins was an atheist but converted in his 20s, and in 2006 he wrote a best-selling book, "The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief."

Sounds pretty admirable to me.Why would an amoral psychopath like Hussein nominate this man for *anything*? Did Hussein just get it wrong...or is there less to this guy than appears?

“Did Hussein just get it wrong...or is there less to this guy than appears?”

Nah. He blundered. Just look at some of the SCOTUS appointments under Republican presidents as an example in the opposite direction. ;)

The godless heathens will never be happy until there are no believers of any kind left. In other words, they wont be happy until they are in Hell - but whoa, wait a minute - they will definitely NOT be happy even then because in Hell they along with everyone else there has come to the realization that God does exist. In fact:

Philippians 2:9-11 (King James Version)

9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Maybe that Newbauer (sp?) guy will agree to run under the Atheist Party. The guy that tried to get the “under God” phrase taken out of the Pledge of Allegiance? He'd be perfect - he's a raging anti-God, anti-Christian bigot - and a LAWYER at that. Wonder how many votes he'd siphon from the Dims?
