Were the 3 American Tourists Captured in Iran Liberal Activists?

I heard one news report on the radio when all of this happened a couple days back that talked about the 3 Americans captured in Iran, but haven't heard anything about it since, nor do any of the reports on the internet say anything about it. One was described as a teacher and a "campus activist", and another one was a "community activist". Anyone else here this?

When they first described a couple of the professions, I came to that conclusion. Journalist, blogger, teacher/activist. I know this sounds harsh, but they are getting what they deserve. I wouldn't dare even think about hiking of all places.....Iran. We have beautiful places here in America if that is the case. But most of us on here know this not to be true.

NEW INFORMATION: Apparently, one of the three captured Americans is a “freelance journalist” with a degree from California Berkely in, get this, “Peace and Conflict Studies”. I think it will be interesting to see if this “journalist” can use the appeasement and America hating he learned at Berkeley to win his freedom. We’ll see...
