President George W. Bush meets Freedom Corps Greeter Chris Dudley, center, and Tyler Byrne, 17, at the Portland Air National Guard Base in Portland, Ore., Friday, Aug. 13, 2004. Mr. Dudley started The Dudley Foundation in 1994 to help children succeed regardless of economic, education, or health liabilities. One of the foundation's key projects is the creation of the first basketball camp for boys and girls with diabetes. Tyler takes part in the program.
