There are only three reasons why Obama won’t authorize the release of his birth certificate:

Seems to me he wants to prolong the conspiracy to his own political advantage. Frankly, I think this stuff is far fetched and some people are looking desperate. Reminds me of when McCain was accused of not being an american citizen.

Untrue. There might be other embarrassing stuff on it that he wants to be hidden. Such as that he is a bastard
Also he knows that once we get the birth certificate revealed he will be pressured to open up other records he has sealed. Such as his college transcripts. This POS got his Senate opponents sealed divorce records opened up and we are going to do the same to him, it is only fair play.

Let me add a fourth. If he gives on this, even if there's no surprise, he might be subjected to great pressure to yield on other records he's sealed, such as his academic records and his passport travel information. This is information the media has dug up on every other candidate in my lifetime as part of the vetting process, and he clearly doesn't want any of it to surface.
