New homes are full of questions and possibilities. What color to paint the walls? How to arrange the furniture? What to plant in the garden? The Obama family must have asked a lot of those same questions when they moved into the White House. However, the first lady's dreams of growing an organic vegetable garden have been dragged down by a previous resident that refuses to leave: sludge.

Human crap as fertilizer??

This is the kind of stuff that makes vegetables coming from Mexico (where they do that) so dangerous!

I know of several lawsuits against produce dealers to restaurants where there was all sorts of nasties that people ate and made them sick. For a while they started bringing them up from Miami, but found out the produce growers in Mexico were shipping the food by boat to Miami markets and they were getting it anyway.

yuck yuck yuck

By the way, will we get a photo caption with a bunch of schoolkids munching down on their ‘organic’ vegetables that aren’t organic at all?

And I wonder what do those parents think of thier kids eating human poo food?

the actual perpetrators were none other than the Clintons. Yep, back when Bill and Hillary were living it up in the White House, their gardening team used "sewage sludge for fertilizer." The fiends!

HAHAHAHA, we don't even have to speculate on the crap anymore.

The Obamas lied, and kids might have died. The press should be covering GardenGate.

Michelle probably calls it Hillary, not Sludge.

This is why you should not use Milorganite in vegetable gardens (despite what their website says http://www.milorganite.com/homeowners/uses.cfm#fruitsandvegetables )

The human body contains many metals and composting human waste doesn’t change that fact.

Didn’t Drudge have a report on Michelle’s miracle garden where it went from seedlings to massive plants in less than a month? Perhaps it was the sludge that did it. We always knew the Clintons were full of major shyte.

Yes, that’s it. There were several national restaurant food chains and peanut butter factories (both at different times) and from what I could gather, as best they traced it, the produce came from Mexico. It’s cheaper there because the labor force is cheap. So rather than pay for regulated food from US farmers, they import from Mexico where the standards are much lower.

Wow, judging from the comments on Yahoo below the story, Obama’s popularity is lower then most polls are reporting.
