I have a libinlaw approaching 70.
I told her this program would kill her in the near future.
She denied it, and kept stating how it will be wonderful to have free care.

Mine are worth a cool mill, in real estate and cash.

They are nearly dancing over this bill.

I’m scared to death that the government won’t give me the treatment or pain meds. Just the option to die, which we as Catholics can’t take.

I had kids late, I don’t want them to see me going through the pain of cancer that way. We have lots of cancer in my family. I’ll have to leave them and go die somewhere else.

Free care? Wait until she gets her first monthly bill.

You should ask your libinlaw why we aren’t pushing for government provided food. Heck, food is higher on the “hierarchy of needs.” Wouldn’t it make sense to meet the most basic needs first.
