President Barack Obama has supporters and detractors. That sort of disagreement is an integral part of politics, and is particularly focused in a two-party system that combines head of state and head of government in one strong executive office. custom residential construction Katie Ogier - The Wells Group online phone book
But none of that explains the delusional quality of some Obama foes.
Newspapers end up on everybody's mailing list, and e-mail increased that exponentially. With that, the Herald gets tidbits from "GOPUSA," an e-mail posting with no indication that it is actually connected to the Republican Party.
Tuesday's contribution from this group was to forward a message from the United States Justice Foundation. It says that Aug. 4 is Obama's birthday and suggests that an appropriate "gift" would be to prosecute the president for his "birth certificate fraud." It goes on to list all the reasons to think that Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States, and is therefore ineligible to be president. The group claims to be suing to get access to Obama's college records, marriage documents, prep-school files and even kindergarten registration.
Some support for and opposition to Obama is ideological. Some is purely partisan. Some - on both sides - is well-reasoned and thoughtful. But this is just nuts.
Another entity called SpecialGuests.com tells us to contact it if we want to interview a Bob Chapman. Chapman is listed as a financial analyst, but his main concern seems to be the affect that uncertainty has on investors and consumers - "especially if the accusations of Obama's fraudulent U.S. birth certificate are proven to be true."

WHAT??? I thought that EVERYBODY loved The Thug unconditionally.
Opposition that demands the transparency promised while supporters suddenly don’t want the same.
A POTUS rescinding combat deployment orders for a military officer who challenges his bona fides, rather than showing his $10 BC to a judge.
That is amazing.
It’s just as nutty as the kook left wanting to impeach Goerge Bush....
We’ll have the most transparent administration in history - BHO
We’ll run the most ethical administration in history - WJC
The first thing all of these so-called "journalists" need to start putting in their articles is one little fact. It goes something like this:
Barack Obama to this day is still refusing to release the birth record that reveals his parents by name, their citizenship and the actual place where his birth took place. (i.e. hospital) Obama campaigned on a promise of transparency, so this secrecy is making us believe he is actually a stealth Republican.
Odd that;judging from the efforts to silence the questioners, you'd think they were onto something the Obamans don't want exposed.
I don’t remember all the hand wringing when the left was speculating about Bush’s National guard service with absolutely nothing. They were heroes, not left wing nuts.
The birth certificate issue was first raised by Hillary supporters. Consequently, I believe that Obama must have been born in Hawaii. If not, Hillary would have outed him as soon as he started winning the Democrat primaries.
So why doesn’t Obama simply authorize the State of Hawaii to produce a certified copy of his original birth certificate? I can come up with only two logical explanations. Either:
1. Obama wants to keep the controversy alive as a straw man to distract from any of a number of real issues about his background, such as how a poor college student managed to take a summer trip to Pakistan when American citizens were not being allowed to travel there.
2. There is something in the birth certificate that is contrary to his published story, such as a different father or that his parents were not married.
The MSM tried to come up with a variety of contradictory reasons to explain why Obama cannot release a certified copy of his original birth certificate, and has finally settled on “He doesn’t have to.” Lou Dobbs appears to be the only MSM journalist that has the gall to ask, “Why doesn’t he just release it?”
