“”The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 28% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11 (see trends).
Yesterday, the President hosted Cambridge police Sgt. James Crowley and Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr., for a beer on the White House lawn. Thirty percent (30%) of voters nationwide give the President good or excellent marks for his handling of the situation. A Rasmussen video report notes that 62% of Americans believe race relations in the nation are improving. This is one aspect of race relations where white and black voters generally agree.

Consumer and investor confidence have both improved dramatically over the past week. Consumer confidence is now at its highest level since mid-June and investor confidence is at the highest level since July 2.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.

Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That is the lowest level of total approval yet recorded for this President. Fifty-one percent (51%) now disapprove. A plurality of voters now believe the President views American society as unfair and discriminatory.

It is important to remember that the Rasmussen Reports job approval ratings are based upon a sample of likely voters. Some other firms base their approval ratings on samples of all adults. President Obama’s numbers are always several points higher in a poll of adults rather than likely voters. That’s because some of the President’s most enthusiastic supporters, such as young adults, are less likely to turn out to vote. “”

Nope, not a bit. His numbers are staying low - the -12, -11, -13 bouncing is statistical MoE stuff.

The beer summit's impact will be seen in 2 more days (the Daily Tracking Poll averages over 3 days).

What are the disapproval numbers on Congress (Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Feinstein, Murtha, Frank, Dodd, et al)? Vote every last one of them OUT. There must be a national drive to get them voted out and to tell the “entire” nest of Socialists that anyone that votes for the DeathCare bill will be voted out and an all-out effort to accomplish that organized and followed through.

He reveals himself as a bigot, as a kneejerk anti-white racist who sees every action by a white “against” a black as an example of racist oppression,

then he compounds the problem by having a “beer summit”, obviously condescending and showing his elitism.

Far from the post-racial “magic negro” that most guilt-ridden white liberals voted for.

And now his overall approval is negative, at -3 (48% to 51%). It will get worse as Obama supporters get less forcefully supportive, making it safer to criticize Obama in social conversations.

Six months ago you had to be careful in being critical of Obama, as Obots would leap to his defense and start yelling about how racist you were for not worshiping the One. Now you can say things about O, and mostly they stay quiet.

Someone else brought up the idea, or put a name to the idea, of making the “race card” (I call it the race SHIELD) the equivalent of Godwin’s rule.

We need to “Godwin” the use of the race shield.

Imply racism in a discussion - BZZZZZT, you lose: no valid argument.

Maybe that's why I've been so unpopular?

JUST THIS MORNING....Girl (dunno her politics) next office over was discussing the fact that her husband just got a 20% pay cut.

One guy out on the floor whined (humorously) "I want my stimulus!" I asked, "How's that Hope and Change working out for you?"

My workplace is populated largely by O-Bots. Not a peep from any of them. At best, a few months ago, there would be wiseass comments, at worst, I'd be in HR's office, discussing my non-positive attitude. :-)

The times, they are a'changin'. For the better, I hope.

When it’s safe in the workplace to mock and criticize The One, look for his slide to accelerate.

I like the ratings. It shows that everything Barry has touched has fallen apart. America is starting to have “Voters’ Remorse”.
