Last week, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Patrick Leahy spoke out against critics of Sonia Sotomayor as playing racial politics. According to Leahy, "You have one leader of the Republican party call her the equivalent of the head of the Ku Klux Klan That's what comes across. It comes across that if you belong to a group that tries to help Hispanics... somehow you're suspicious.

That's what comes across. It comes across that if you belong to a group that tries to help Hispanics... somehow you're suspicious.
Stick “whites” in there in place of “Hispanics” and see how it looks, Leahy....
I don’t know what happened. I thought I copied and pasted the entire article
She is the lefts equivalent to David Duke, only much more powerful.
She’s a racist and bigot. O has no other type of friend.
They’re either racists or they’re corrupt tax cheats.
MAKE YOUR PHONE CALLS to Senators to JUST SAY NO to her
You hit the nail square on the head
She's an anti-American bigot filled with rage and hate against White Anglo-Saxons....male and female. She lied repeatedly about her beliefs and statements in the past. In her culture, that's acceptable, if you do it to your enemies to get power.
The woman is a criminal. She has taken oaths of office in the United States and she has or intends to break every one of them. Her intention is to subvert the Constitution of the Hated Gringos and poison it with her venality. At every step of the way, she will enshrine in law more power for "her people" (nuestra raza) and attempt to turn the Constitution against the very people whose ancestors wrote it "for our posterity".
PS...the Aztlan Academy is in one of the most crime ridden sections of Tucson. Sorta makes sense, huh?
Ironically, other Spanish speaking people of the hemisphere don't think much of Puerto Ricans. OTOH, the national chauvinism, color-consciousness, and bigotry among "Hispanics," is very pronounced and more than a little ridiculous.
It's a family thing, right? Everyone fights with each other but unites against the outsiders...the Mexicans always gripe about the Cuban accent (and vice versa), but everyone agrees the Anglos are Bad Guys...
