With cathedrals in Saigon, Danang and Hanoi, and smaller churches up and down the coast at least...and with western tourism adding significantly to their economy, one would think the Vietnamese would take better care of the image they now project to the world.
I hope they don’t wreck a yet beautiful country.
This has been going on and it’s not just Catholics, they’ve bulldozed small independent Christian churches, welded a pastor and his wife in their own home by welding bars across doors, windows, they were imprisoned for several months, other persecutions.
Oh but see, as one Left wing journalist said, “We’re at peace with Vietnam now”. Sure buddy, remember the Kamer Rouge? And then there’s always Pol Pot in Cambodia, such nice folks.
And then there’s Socialist Democrat party in the USSA, tigers of the same stripe as it were...
This article includes a paragraph about some who have recently been arrested and then held for trial. It doesn’t include the information on the priests who were killed.
