THE WHITE HOUSE
Office of the Press Secretary
____________________________________________________________________
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 30, 2009
Statement from the President following his conversation with the Vice President, Professor Gates and Sergeant Crowley
"I am thankful to Professor Gates and Sergeant Crowley for joining me at the White House this evening for a friendly, thoughtful conversation. Even before we sat down for the beer, I learned that the two gentlemen spent some time together listening to one another, which is a testament to them. I have always believed that what brings us together is stronger than what pulls us apart. I am confident that has happened here tonight, and I am hopeful that all of us are able to draw this positive lesson from this episode."

"Why would Crowley submit to this? "I think it hd to do with keeping his job or with retaining some hope of ever making it to Lieutenant Crowley.

The only thing that was important about this meeting was that there were cameras there as ANOTHER PHONY photo-op for obozo, the liar.

I was thinking Alfred E. Neuman of the old Mad Magazine.
Still kind of a weird shadow.

And then Crowley should have said, “I wish 13 percent of the population would stop committing 40 percent of its crimes,” and then slam down another Blue Moon :-)

There must have been a great deal of pressure on Crowley from many sources. He was the only decent man at the table today.Well put.

Interesting. Gates and Crowley have their ties and jackets on. Plugs and Obama are in rolled up shirt sleeves. The visitors are showing their respect to the Presidency. But the occupiers have no respect for the office. Ah, sort of like this?

What is that? The second gunman on the grassy knoll? That's the Secret Service agent waiting in the trees, ready to hit Joe Biden in the neck with a tranq dart, in case he actually starts talking.

LOL I thought it looked liked Michael Jackson. Gave me the creeps.
Notice the order of names in the official press release. In government protocol, persons are listed in alphabetical order BY LAST NAME. Unless one is considered more important than the other by virtue of official rank or station. In Obama’s world, his friend beginning with “G” trumps the police sergeant whose name begins with “C.” Don't smile. I was once a government protocol/press officer (not military) and great care is taken over such matters. Crowley has just been insulted again.
