Yes....we are one short and have been for about 6 weeks. The boss has had to take on a bunch of her stuff, while the almost already maxed techs have picked up some of the little stuff as best we can. We have had an off and on temp (she is excellent) handling all the timesheets, edits, matching, without having to mess with phones or other specific stuff. Sooooo, she has been able to help the rest of us by printing out timesheets, checking them, checking edits, and matching. And this week really came together well with help with the basics.
Super busy, still homework, but made it to check printing without pulling out hair, and a half hour early....room to breathe. d:o)
God bless you for your daily reminders of our wonderful
military heroes and all that they have done for us as
they sacrifice themselves. What other place in the world has men
and women with such passion for their country!?
Room to breathe is good.
A good commute indeed.
I’ve been meaning to tell you ladies about my little feathered friend.
I have this little bird...only about 3 inches long that stops by every afternoon to visit.
He has a yellow head & rust colored wings & his face looks like an old man!:)
Anywhoo he perches on the outdoor windowsill every afternoon about 3:00 pm.
Same spot every day & for three years now but only at this time of year.
He chirps sometimes & other times falls asleep.
I love this lil guy!
He doesn’t look like like a wild bird but have no idea his affinity for this one spot.
It’s the strangest thing...I often think maybe he sees the reflection in the glass & thinks it’s another one like him.
I dunno but he’s the cutest lil thing & so odd!
Room to breathe is good.

Now?
Now?
Awwww....what a neat little friend you have, (((Connie)))
I would love to see your bird...I can’t help you with the ID..The more I learn about birds..the more I realize how limited my knowledge is.
Megs, he is so cute you couldn’t believe it!
I have searched & searched on line to find another like him....so far no luck.
I think perhaps he is someones pet that got free.
Who knows!
I’ll try & get a pic tomorrow.
How’s the critters your way?
He is neat Luv! *hugs*
I’m easily moved by nature....:)
Do you leave him any food? You sure pinged the folks for help.
My Dad got a brand new Dell Inspiron and 20” widescreen monitor. He took the cpu to the computer shop and had them copy everything they could to the new computer. Now I’m running back and forth helping get it set up. We got everything setup and plugged in and now it is doing the updates it says they recommend. As soon as that is done, on to the Java update waiting and then I will install Avast anti-virus. THEN we see about finding his “stuff”. He will call me when ready.
Good gads are you gonna be up all night?:)
I thought Mom was in line for a new computer?
It sure is alot of work but it’s kinda fun too right?
Woo-Hoo, what fun that’s going to be!
All the updates can be a pain, waiting for them to be done - but definitely worth it.
Okay, the Canteen got quiet...looks like everyone stepped outside - for fresh air, maybe?
I’m going to toddle off to bed, then. I needs me beauty rest, dont’chya know!
Supposedly all his old stuff in on the new compuer, just all in one folder. We will see. I'm not up on importing and exporting....
As for my Mom....she has opted to stay with Mac. So, Shannon, our Mac lady came by today and virtually all the things we needed fixed will be with a new machine. Before I went to a PC, a friend was trying to teach me graphics and saving and music, etc, and we had problems because all the words for the same thing are different. But I was already familiar with the need to upgrade because what I wanted to do was not upgradable.
It will be a Mac mini.....
The Mac mini fits inside an elegant 2-inch-tall, 6.5-inch square. All the performance you need. All the Mac features you love. All on Mac OS X Leopard, the worlds most advanced operating system. Just connect your keyboard, display, and mouse, and say hello to your new Mac.
Need #1 was a BIG monitor because of my Mom's problem with Maculardegeneration. So, shopping begins tomorrow...Costco and Sam's Club will the first stops. There is no point to waiting. They are in their mid 80s and need to enjoy now.
