Short term? Long term?
If Obammy gets a second term, disasterous to apocalyptic if not before the end of his first.
It’s incomprehensible that this pathetic doofus is actually POTUS. The Dims are evil and hell bent on the destruction of freedom in the US.
It’s all too monsterous to contemplate. It’s the end of Western civilization. The dark ages return if not worse because of the technology of control and destruction.
I guess it’s grim unless there’s an armed revolution and the Republicans, conservatives and our Western allies grow a pair and simply kill all the leftists. We can’t out talk them.
You had to ask didn’t you. The left and Islamofascism win by stealth.
Liberal = hater of freedom of choice to live a life that one desires to lead.
Scary that many of the people who vote for the liberals don’t understand that the people they would vote for will turn on the voters in a heartbeat.
There is no "OUR total health dollars", sweetheart. There are MY healthcare dollars, that I spend on cheap smokes, bad booze and slow women. And there are YOUR healthcare dollars, that you spend on whatever you spend it on.
I really hope you are having dessert with that Guiness. Something with chocolate and strawberries, because Guiness is either breakfast food, or dessert nightcap.
There is no "OUR" health dollars. Just taxes stolen from people too dumb to quit paying.

Amen. I'm glad someone finally wrote it, and I'm glad some people here agree. Most of my views haven't changed much over the years, and at one point many of those viewpoints would've been called liberal. The definition of the word is what changed.
they want you to be able to do whatever you want, and be whoever you want (gay, a black woman with a job, a transsexual atheist hooker)
Why did you include "a black woman with a job" on that list?
That's what we all were raised to believe. To explain further, here's a youtube video that (imho) explains the political spectrum very well:
That's what we all were raised to believe, but we were raised to believe something that isn't true. The video explains further.
Good catch on your part; crappy last-minute editing on my part. I was quickly re-reading and wanted to wedge gender and race issues in there somewhere, and dropped them in really clumsily. Sorry about that. Probably made the whole post smell a little off.
Comparing them to the Nazi’s of 1944 might be out of hand, but to compare liberals to the Nazi’s of 1933 is completely accurate. The only difference is the time.
No problem. I figured it was a mistake or something. Have a good night.
I'd say the difference is time and the willingness of the German people. The Germans in the 1930s were still really angry about World War I and its aftermath, and really wanted to take that anger out on everyone who had fought against them.
Of course, one could accurately argue that that made the whole "attempt at global conquest" thing possible, but that the shifting over to an authoritarian government was more subtle and easier a process. This is a very good argument as to why everyone should be vigilant as to which way things are headed in their own country, and remember that appeasement isn't always to foreign powers; it can also happen within your borders as well.
I guess my larger concern is that truly valid arguments lose traction when Nazis are brought into it, especially as a casual reference. It holds water among friends and FReepers, just as comparing Bush to Nazis was super popular among lefties no matter how silly it was. But beyond the circles of people who are already convinced, it tends to just instantly turn people off, even if you've got a valid argument to make. So it's more of a pet peeve than anything else: I hate to see any decent argument overrun by ze Germans.
Liberals are really angry also, although they don’t have a specific reason like the Germans did. They are constantly angry, moreso when confronted. They are dangerous.
“the Nazis were an authoritarian, hyper-nationalist dictatorship. They were far right

Here’s a nice snapshot of the same, removing the confusion of Left vs Right.

I agree. But there isn't anything casual about comparing socialist douches like the far left wing of the Democrat party to Nazis. The only difference is they lack, so far, the ability to round up people they find undesirable into concentration camps. You know they want to, and will just as soon as they get the opportunity. No this is deadly serious, and the only stupid ones are those who don't recognize the socialist nanny staters for what they are. Oppressive wanna be dictators.
There are several other groups that rival these as objects of "liberal" hatred: white male heterosexuals, self-employed individuals (including professionals), real property owners, bankers, and "greedy" Wall Street executives, for example.
Don’t forget the lowly Landlord....
signed.
lowly landlord~
(want to buy some apartments, need to unload before Cap & Trade.)
BTW, if Hitler had his wishes, the Nazis would have imposed severe smoking restrictions in Germany. Hitler was definitely an anti-smoking zealot. But the Nazis' attempts to do that met with too much resistance, so the initiative was dropped: a rare instance where the Nazis backed off.
Landlords would be included under the category “real property owners” and perhaps “self-employed individuals” as well. Didn’t mean to forget you. (LOL!)
They were “Green” Fanatics also...

They are incredibly intolerant of smokers and tobacco users.Nearly all the liberals I know (and I know a LOT of them) are avid smokers; they are even sometimes heard to bitch about the continual Granholm excise tax boosts on tobacco products, because, like liberals everywhere, they're pathologically self-centered. Even they realize how stupid they sound complaining about tobacco company profits, so they usually don't, and that's a break for me.
