In a sternly worded statement, Rep. Barney Frank said Congress will revive legislation that would let bankruptcy judges write down a person's monthly mortgage payment if the number of loan modifications remain low...

Next we will write a law forcing you to refire those you fired.
Three steps of tyranny ... They try and sell you on an idea, when that fails, they try and bribe you to accept the idea, when that fails, it’s guns and gulags time. We are now between step 2 and 3.

Smoooooth one, Bawney! Watch mortgage lending in the USA dry up completely as lenders simply won't take the risk. Or, one had better be damn rich to qualify for a loan. Democrats will suffer most...

Frank CAN'T just make them, he has to do this legal like.
He'll need to draw up a writ, and then have -10bama put his wax seal on it.

How can we continue to live in a country where a hand full of crazies like Pelosi, Obama, Frank, Dodd and others can screw us over so badly. None of us get to vote for these people but they are constantly using the power of the government to hurt us.
Abolish the Federal government and replace it with a national congress of state governors. Or, we start leaving the union....

How dare banks assume the fact of a promise to pay!! Really, if the mortgage loan is collaterized with the ability to seize the property in case of default, isn’t that a tacit admission that the bank never trusted the customer in the first place? Isn’t that a further admission that the bank knew better than to place the loan? Clearly the fault resides in the bank, which cannot vote anyway.

Between the government and the bankers they have facilitated and created a national mess. The last people we need to clean up the mess is these people/idiots.
