BAQUBA, Iraq (AFP) – Iraqi soldiers and riot police stormed a camp housing Iran's main exiled opposition on Tuesday, triggering violent clashes that left at least 260 people wounded.
The seizure of Camp Ashraf, which was disarmed by the United States in 2003 and surrounded by American forces until recently, comes after months of a tense stand-off at the base north of Baghdad.
"After the failure of negotiations with the Mujahedeen to enter peacefully, the Iraqi army entered Camp Ashraf with force and it now controls all of the interior and all entrances to the camp," an Iraqi military source said.

1. Iranian opposition is in Iraq and armed
2. The US troops are protecting these guys because the are pro US and against the Iranian regime...AND THEY HAVE THEM DISARMED.
3. US troops give oversight to this group to the Iraq army
4. US troop observers on board.
5. US apparently gives Iraq army the green light to do what ever they want.
6. I ASSUME OBAMA ADMIN. GIVES GREEN LIGHT TO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO THESE PEOPLE
7. Iraq army attacks these people

Given how Marxist ideology is a spent force, whereas Islamists in Iran have killed hundreds of Americans, I'll back Iranian Marxists over Iranian Islamists any day of the week. (During the Cold War, we backed Latin American Fascists who were ideological kin to the Nazis because Soviet-backed Marxism was the bigger threat).
