Sorry but your being obsessed with Catholic issues does not help us know what the Catholic voters are doing, these polls do, it is the same with the Jewish vote and the Protestant vote, these polls give us the information we need.
When we try to learn to how Muslims are voting it isn’t helpful to get Muslims telling us to ignore all the voting information we are using because those Muslims are not measured for purity, especially if the results disagree with the Muslim that is telling us that.
A couple of our Orthodox Jews make the same useless argument as you do, Protestants generally will make a remark resembling your point but they do not get so offended that they try to discard polling as you do.
When Catholics vote liberal and Protestants vote conservative, there is something that needs to be studied there.
so please don't respond to me unless you answer this question: Who is qualified to identify someone as a Catholic? Himself? A pollster? An MSNBC reporter? Catholic doctrine? There is only one correct answer, and it is not open to debate.
This is the central question to the conversation we are having. So if you refuse to answer it, you are just procrasting and wastign my time by proxy. Answer the question, and don't bother looking for me on other threads.
You have posted to me five or six times that I am either offended or insulted by you. I am neither. I don't think you are very smart, and I think you harbor latent or open hostility against the Catholic Faith. I'm OK with that too. You got offended when I correctly pointed out that your polling figures were worthless. Deep down inside, you know they are. That's why you won't answer the question.
