It makes sense that a newborn will develop into a human being.
It even makes more sense that a fetus will develop in to a newborn.
A fertilized egg has it’s own human DNA. Unique in the 12 (or whatever) billion years since the “Big Bang.” It is alive. It has a sex. A fertilized egg is a human being. There is no need for it to “develop” into one.
You've got that backwards. It doesn't DEVELOP into a human being once it is born. It's ALREADY a human being. It's a human. It is conceived as a human. It is born as a human. It goes through life as a human. And it ends life as a human.
